Hi – I am in a wedding next month and I am looking to rent a bustier/corset….?
I think thats what its called – it’s a strapless bra top that goes down to almost my hips, underneath my bridesmaid dress. Everywhere I look to buy it is $50-$75+ and seeing Im only going to be wearing it this once, I’d rather not spend this much. Anyone know of any place in CT that rents items like this out? Or does anyone have any other suggestions for me? I have already put alot of money into this wedding, and I really need to try and conserve. Help please!

Check Sears or Target. They don’t always sell the longer ones, but they do have the ones that go to the waist and you could wear a control bottom (spanx, etc.) to smooth out the line. Also, if you have time check the Frederick’s of Hollywood stores because they tend to clear out last season’s color choices for half price, so you could possible buy one for $20.
