pants for my body type?
im 5′5” & hourglass but not busty.
what pant styles suit me best? (one twenty pounds)
A boot cut, NOT a bellbottom or “flare” it will accentuate the hips too much and make you look shorter. And you want something not too low, something that cuts right in between the navel and the hips and comes directly across any tummy bulges (if you even have any), low-riders will go under the bulge and accentuate any tummy imperfections.
I am similar body type and have very good luck with Lucky jeans, they seem to be made for hourglass type as they don’t gap so much in the back. Plus they have every length/waist combination and people to help you find the right fit. They are expensive, but in my opinion worth it, I have Luckys that I have had for 6 years. You can always go there to check your fit, and then try to find some at Marshalls, Ross, Nordstrom Rack, places like that. I have even found Lucky’s on ebay and craigslit in great shape cheap with the tags still on. For other pants, I prefer Express Editor pants, they are also made for girls with some curves and have the nice bootcut to them. Good luck!
