Do you have this happen in your “fantasy” dreams?
We’ve all had those dreams where we get to be flirty, intimate, or downright dirty with our favorite celebrities, crushes, etc.
Well, I’ve noticed that since I hooked up with my current boyfriend of 3+ years, these dreams have never been the same. Generally, I will find myself in a dream situation where I am interacting with a hot celebrity or whomever… but while my dream self thinks they would love to jump the bones of the dream celeb…. I ALWAYS subconciously remember I have a boyfriend. In the dream, I wonder what he would think, or I tell myself I can’t do this because I have him. Sometimes he is there, too, but others not. It doesn’t change the fact that my loyalty appears to be lodged in my subconcious!
In some ways I think this is cool, because it means I am really loyal in my relationship, even in fantasies. But sometimes I really wish I could just have the naughty fun that comes with dreams like that.
Is there a deeper meaning behind this? Has it happened to you?
Yes, I’ve experienced similar dreams and fantasies. It’s normal for people to fantasize, and I’ll step out of my comfort zone to share that I have actually had orgasms while fantasy dreaming. It has happened about 10 times in my long lifetime. I love having an orgasm while asleep – It’s intense!
Depending on who my partner is at the time, I’m careful to keep things (dreams&fantasies) private that might be taken out of context or hurt someones feelings or make them angry. However, my ex-husband used to enjoy hearing about these dreams because he was confident in our relationship and knew I wouldn’t ever cheat on him. We were both open minded, secure and had realistic and healthy perspectives on sex and fantasy. Great question.
